2007 RECIPIENT PROFILES

     Determination, dedication, high standards and a restless impatience to get the job done are only a few of the characteristics that define the entrepreneurs and professionals being honoured this week by the OBJ.
     Medical practitioners who have made a business out of putting the “care” back in healthcare, lawyers and accountants who have identified and captured new niche markets to expand their firms, entrepreneurs with an artistic flair who deal in glass, DNA and just plain fun. These are only a few of the dynamic people you will find among the finalists for the 2007 edition of the OBJ’s Forty Under 40 awards.
     A five-person panel choose the 40 finalists, all under the age of 40, from more than 90 nominations. Nominees were judged for business accomplishments, professional expertise and community involvement. The finalists will be honoured and recognized at a gala event that takes place June 21 at the Hilton Lac-Leamy.
     As you can see from the profiles in the following pages, the finalists are a diverse mix of men and women from varied backgrounds, but they share a commitment to integrity, sincerity and honesty in their individual drive for success.
